A-Z Fruit and Veg Photo Project: W is for Watercress
I chose to use watercress in this project as we often buy it for salads and just wanted to do something out of the ordinary.
I wanted to do something different, something silly, maybe even something bizarre! Watercress gets its name from being cultivated in a semi-aquatic environment. I have always imagined it growing out of a beautiful waterfall. So that’s what I though I would shoot!
Why the glass bottle? To symbolise capturing the serenity! Isn’t that what they do with the water we drink?
Maybe a little quirky, but hey! Why not mix it up!?
What is this all about?
xx

It sure is different. AND very lovely. Great photo Rachel!
I am glad you think so. Was a bit unsure how people who take this photo!
Great picture, really like this a lot.
Is it out of place though? Or is that what you like about it?
Definitely the right setting. The water effect for water cress in its natural environment.
