Photography
I am in awe of food photography. It excites me – I absolutely love it. I am a food stylist, food and lifestyle photographer based in Melbourne, Australia.
I shoot with a Nikon D600 and a Nikon D300, and I primarily use my Nikkor 60mm Micro 2.8 lens as I love the quality of the light it creates and the vignetting. I shoot within a few hours after sunrise and the few hours before sunset. I always use natural light, a stormy and cloudy morning produces my favourite light. I love the emotions it creates, the shadows and highlights.
The food I shoot is real, no tricks, just love. Each dish is made, styled and shot straight out of my kitchen. Its honest and full of love. I don’t cook anything I wouldn’t eat.
